Climbing Mount Sinai. Noah Ablett 1883-1935. The first and so far only biography of the famous Welsh miners leader, from his birth in the heart of the Rhondda, to his tragic death from cancer aged 52. Ablett's life concided with one of the most tumultuous times in British history, when millions of workers came together, demanding better pay and conditions, in what historians once called the Great Unrest. Circa 1910-1914. In this era, Ablett played a leading role as part author of the Miners Next Step, and as founder of the Central Labour College or CLC. There were only 300 copies of this book printed so it will become rare. Signed by the author
